Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a gentle and effective practice that deeply nourishes the body, mind and soul.
Yin Yoga, which involves holding poses with specific target areas for extended periods and allowing the muscles to remain passive, works on the deep connective tissues of the body. It gently releases tension and tightness, contributing to increased flexibility and relaxation. It supports joint health and balances energy flow by affecting the meridian channels. Additionally, it effects the nervous system and induces a profound sense of calm, reduces stress levels, and offers an opportunity for recharge and renewal.
The qualities of Yin Yoga are slow-paced, meditative and relaxing. This nature of Yin Yoga also allows the mind to settle. It invites us to introspect, listen, and slow down, guiding us to develop our presence by staying with what is and being in the moment. It provides an opportunity to explore and observe our bodies, thoughts, emotions, and inner landscapes from an open and non-judgmental space. Through this practice, we are able to develop compassion and acceptance towards our own processes.
Yin yoga is essentially a gentle path towards self-discovery, inner balance and harmony. Through regular practice, we establish a deeper connection with our own layers in the process. Beyond physical flexibility and relaxation, we also get in touch with our inner peace and integrity.
My classes aim to offer a holistic approach by integrating active stretching, breathing and meditation exercises into the practice of yin yoga.
I believe in the importance of an inclusive and gentle attitude so that participants can practice in a way that suits their own body and needs.

It is a practice that you can integrate into your life in a balanced way.
